Carisma Burrell,
Farm Manager

Carisma Burrell is an advocate for land and heritage preservation, passionate about discovering and sharing information about nature and health. She was born and raised in Baltimore MD, organizing community activities and local nature trips for the young people of her neighborhood early on. She began her agricultural endeavor volunteering and eventually collaborated with a Baltimore City urban farm, Strength to Love 2. Carisma returned to farming in 2023 as a Farmer Trainee with Future Harvest CASA and the Whitelock Community Farm, a farm manager committed to cultivating produce and the community.

Wykeem Franklin, 
Programs Manager

Developing a love for the outdoors at a young age while working with The New York Restoration Project to revamp his neighborhood creek. He started volunteering at WCF in 2015 when first moving to Reservoir Hill, Baltimore. Remained involved & furthered his role at the farm by co-leading our YouthWorks summer program 2017 & 2018 as well as going on to start Saturday community fitness gatherings helping advance community engagement & promote wellness in Reservoir Hill.

Volunteers from our neighborhood and all over have come to help out at the Farm. This help has been vital to the farms growth and sustainability.
